Project W.I.L.D. (Wilderness-Investigate-Learn-Discover)

Project WILD is a live wildlife-focused conservation education program based on the premise that young people have a vital interest in investigating, learning, and discovering the planet’s wilderness and natural world. Emphasizing wildlife because of its intrinsic value, Project WILD addresses the need for human beings to develop as responsible citizens of our planet. From the tiny tree frog to the majestic Soaring Macaw, wildlife and humans are integrally connected.

Project WILD presenters will link students with real live wildlife through its mission to provide wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. Its mission is to bring awareness and appreciation of our natural world with awesome live animal ambassadors. Project WILD will bring and present several live animals and discuss topics on animal habitats, adaptations, natural behaviors, and environmental conservation. Your students will have hands on experiences with the animals as they learn about sharing the world with them.

Project W.I.L.D.

The students could barely contain their excitement as the presenter introduced each animal and couldn’t wait for the next one to come out! It is rare that the students are able to have this much fun while learning as much as they did. The teachers were tired of the animal questions by the end of the week!

Principal - Denver, CO

As a teacher, one of the most fun aspects of the program was the many times my students turned to me with big eyes and mouths wide open – full of wonder. The presenter did an excellent job of handling the large age range and of keeping her poise managing a large audience with a large spider on her hand! She commanded respect and treated the animals respectfully. Thank you.

Teacher - Hanford, CA

The presentation was incredibly informative and the presenter was marvelous. She was a model of respectful, responsible treatment of the animals and was as good with our students as any presenter we have ever had. Excellent assembly!
